The military diet is very strict and the portions must be according to the diet’s guidelines. However, consuming one fruit instead of another and lentils instead of meat is allowed. Nonstick cooking spray, mustard, spices, lemon juice, calorie-free sweetener, water, tea and black coffee are allowed as well. The diet lasts for three days. In these three days you will burn fat, feel energized and your metabolism will become perfect. Before repeating the diet, take a pause of four days.

Military Diet

DAY 1:

Breakfast: ½ grapefruit, a slice of toast, 2 Tbsp. peanut butter, 1 cup coffee or tea

Lunch: ½ tuna, a slice of toast, 1 cup coffee or tea

Dinner: 3 ounces meat, 1 cup green beans, ½ banana or some other fruit, 1 apple, 1 cup ice cream (vanilla flavor)

DAY 2:

Breakfast: 1 egg, a slice of toast, ½ banana or some other fruit

Lunch: 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 egg (boiled), 5 crackers

Dinner: 2 hot dogs without the bun, 1 cup broccoli, ½ cup carrots, ½ banana or some other fruit, ½ cup ice cream (vanilla flavor)

DAY 3:

Breakfast: 5 crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1apple

Lunch: 1 cooked or boiled egg, a slice of toast

Dinner: 1 cup tuna, ½ banana or some other fruit, 1 cup ice cream (vanilla flavor)

This diet requires exercising, and the exercises should be done according to your current activity level. People who are overweight should take a walk around the block. People who are active and in good shape should try to do as much exercises as possible. Jogging, walking, swimming, jumping rope and using a treadmill are excellent exercises for losing weight. You should consult a doctor before going on this diet and doing the exercises if you have some medical issues.

The easy aspect of this diet is the cheapness of the products that you should consume and the regimen which is quite easy to follow.
